Melissa has worked both privately and within Maternity Hospital wards for over 22 years. Over this time, she has gained recognised tertiary degrees in order to further her credibility and standard of care in Women's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Her advanced skills in assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and real time ultrasound is sought after by many specialists and enabled her to contribute to the profession over the past 20 years of clinical practice.
Melissa was the visiting lecturer for Women's Health and Contrinece lectures / practicals for 13 years which included cirriculum development and leading the courses every year at the prestigious University of Queensland. Alongside this and her clinical work, she also was an experienced examiner for the Experiential and Clinical Titling Pathway for Women;s Heakth & Continence candidates. She continues to examine this important professional development pathway 10 years later, and can help any Physiotherapy clinic or physiotherapist interested in Women's Health to gain the right experience if the Titling Pathway is a professional goal.
Her advanced teraching ability in Women's & Pelvic Health alongside her advanced knowlege base will bring a high level of expertise to any Skillflow workshop to enhance any Physiotherapy clinic to manage referrals with confidence.
